yes here is my 1st article Dan Mullen & the UF footbattball program are gearing up for week 4 of the season, but as they say coaching is not a 45 hour week job you also have to go out & recruit this past weekend there were a boat load of talented recruits that were in the Swamp to see the Gators 31 29 loss but there are 3 big ones i wanted to talk about the 1st one is 2022 4 star DT Jamai Lyons Mullen & company have been trending in the right direction since the 1st weekend of June which is the 1st weekend since the recruiting dead period was lifted when Lyons named UF his leader and has maintained that stance ever since I like were the Gators sit heading into when Lyons announces on October 6th . The 2nd player I would like to talk about is 2022 4 star WR Jayden Gibson He was al UF on the 4th of June and at the Bama game he has family ties to UF his dad played for the Gators along with his uncle Gibson has not said any teams as leader per say but many have felt that the Gators have held the inside track here he will commit October 13th i love where the Gators sit here heading into the announcement & Julio Julian Humphrey a 2022 DB commit for the Gators said to swamp 247’s Blake Alderman quote and we have that new WR which makes me feel even better about Gibson being a Gator when he announces . The 3rd & final player I would like to talk about is 2022 4 star DB Azareyeh Thoms this one has been all over place unlike the first two players Thomas was not a Gator lock at first he took a visit on the 4th of June and the overwhelming thought was UF was in a good spot so much so that Blake Alderman said he was considering putting in a prediction for the Gators but that never happened Thomas would take his family to LSU and after the visit there were two predictions both put by LSU insiders Thomas would be back at UF later in July for UF’s Friday night lights event on July 30th were he worked out for the staff & then would return to UF the next day for the cookout that the staff was holding for recruits and after the bama game director of football recruiting for 247 Steve Willfong AKA Fong put in a prediction for the Gators after the game this weekend Thomas told Blake he was going to commit in early October as of right now if I was a betting man which i’m not I would bet that the Gators land all these are the wins on the trail that Mullen must close if he wants to take UF football to the next level Mullen must be able to keep the top kids in the state of Florida home & not let them go elsewhere
